What is OAT?
OpioidAgonistTherapy (OAT) is an effective treatment for people dependent on different types of opioids such as Hydromorphone, Oxycodone, Heroin and Fentanyl. The therapy involves medications such as Suboxone, Methadone & Kadian. These medications prevent the effects of withdrawal and reduce cravings for opioids and allows a person to focus on other elements of their recovery.
